The croquettes were interesting and the popovers were good. The oysters were a little on the small side. the menu and making recommendations.įor starters we had the popovers,5 oysters, and the oxtail croquettes. Our server Tricia was very nice and did an excellent job explaining. We ended being 45 minutes early for our reservation but the restaurant was empty so they were able to seat us right away. Went here with a buddy to celebrate our mutual birthday. And this resulted in 112 USD of water on the bill (arghh) More during our dinner they continuously served water without asking. Upon insisting it to split it differently it was possible. they stated their computer could only split the bill evenly (yeah, blame the computer). the bill had surcharges for a larger group (20%) and a kitchen surcharge (what is that?) Using salt is a very cheap trick to have people think it is tasteful (next to using sugar and fat). they delivered an incorrect mocktail which instead of taking it back tried to sell it to anyone at the table. after our order it took 45 minutes before it was delivered. If you have a vegetarian in your party there is no serious option except picking a few side dishes. the acoustic is not good to have a relaxed conversation with the music a bit too loud. continuously needed to put our sweater on and off. The welcoming, decoration and seats are good, but then we experienced a set of improvement points. Do they want to be classic, high-end or just posh? I don’t know what it is with this restaurant.
